Introduction to Matters

Matters (or Legal Cases) are the central data element in AdvoLogix.   A Matter is a detailed description of a client's problem, case, or question and is used to track their data to solve the problem or issue.

Matters Tab

The Matters tab displays a home page that lets you quickly create and locate all types of Accounts.

Choose from the available Contacts lists, edit or create a new list using your filter criteria.

Matter Relationships

Matters can be associated to either Accounts or Contacts using Participants.  Using Participants, Matters can have multiple Accounts, Contacts, Staff members related to them.   If you wish to relate Matters to these items then it is easiest to have these items already set up in the system prior to creating a Matter.
