Creating an Export Template

Create and manage export templates that can be used to retrieve customized data from time records for integration with external accounting and billing systems. 

Export Templates Tab

Select the New button.

  1. Export Template name - Set the desired name for the template.
  2. Related Object - Select either Time, Expense, or Matter.
  3. Description - Enter a description for the template that will help others identify it.
  4. Field To Mark Record As Exported - Select either Cloned by Billing or Exported.
  5. Field To Record Exported By User - Select Exported By.
  6. Field To Record Timestamp Of Exported Record - Select either End Time, Exported On, or Start Time.
  7. Use Field Labels as Column Headers - Enable if you want to use field labels for the column headers on the output file.
  8. Field List - Check each field that is desired to be included in the export.

Export Template Detail Page

The export template is ready to be utilized.
