Find the Salesforce ID for a User

AdvoLogix applications include flow actions that may require the 15-digit Salesforce id for a user for automation. Following the steps below you can determine a user id very easily from within your organization.

How to locate the 15-digit Salesforce ID for a User?

  1. In Salesforce Setup, enter Users into the Quick Find box and select Users.
  2. From the list, search for and navigate to open the detail view of the user.
  3. In your browser's address bar, you will see a URL similar to:
    https://<YourInstanceOrMyDomainHere>.lightning.force.com/lightning/setup/ManageUsers/page?address=%2F 00530000003xqAb %3Fnoredirect%3D1%26isUserEntityOverride%3D1
  4. In the URL above, the user's Salesforce ID is 00530000003xqAb.
