Disable Time for the Entire Org (MM)

Summary

There are times when customers do not need the time management functionality we provide.  The instructions below can help them disable time for the entire organization.

Question

How do I disable time for my entire organization?

Resolution/Workaround

  1. Remove read permission for the Time:
    • Object
    • Tab
    • Related Lists 
  2. Navigate to AdvoLogix Setup >> Matter Planner and uncheck the checkbox for Enable Time to hide it.  
  3. Remove these fields from the field Set_ContentTime on the Content Version object:
    • Log Time
    • Time (In Hours)
