How to Implement a Custom Time Naming Format (MM)

AdvoLogix auto-generates names for all time entries on save. The following article provides a way to override the default naming format that AdvoLogix uses.

⚠️This is only for AdvoLogix Matter Management v1.139 onwards. Your administrators can deactivate the default time naming format that AdvoLogix generates for all time entries.


Can we use a different naming format for time entries?


  1. Go to Salesforce Setup | Process Automation | Flows.
  2. Find the flow labeled as AdvoLogix: Time, click open the row level action menu, and select View Details and Versions.
  3. On the screen that opens, under the Flow Versions related list find the latest Active flow version. 
  4. Click Deactivate.

From here onwards, after the flow is deactivated, AdvoLogix will not auto-generate names for any new time entries.  Your administrator can set up a new flow to automate the name for the time entries.
