How to Assemble Your iManage Redirect URL

To set up the iManage integration, you will need to assemble a redirect url with the instructions below.

Assemble the URL for a Production Org

The URL structure will look like this:

https://[my domain name]--imanage.vf.force.com/apex/iManageConnect

Find Your My Domain Name

To find your organization's My Domain name, go to Setup >> Quick Find: My Domain (see below).

Assemble the URL for a Sandbox

The URL structure will look like this:

https://[my domain name]--[sandbox name]--imanage.sandbox.vf.force.com/apex/imanageconnect

Find the Sandbox Name (only if using a sandbox)

If you are installing into a sandbox, then you will need the name of the sandbox as well.  To find your sandbox name, (while logged into the sandbox) look at the top of any page (see below).

Assemble the URL for Other Org Types

The URL structure will look like this:

https://[my domain name]--imanage.[domain partition value].vf.force.com/apex/iManageConnect

Find the Domain Partition Value
Org Type Domain Partition Value
Scratch Org scratch
Developer Org develop

The Redirect URL assembled above should be updated within the iManage Control Center (within iManage Work) and iManage Setup (within Salesforce).

Where To Update Your Redirect URL

For the cloudimanage.com endpoint, please contact AdvoLogix Support ([email protected]) and have them approve your assembled redirect URL.

For the imanage.work endpoint and on-premise environment, follow these steps:

  1. In the side menu (on the left) locate the Settings section. Then, click on the Applications menu item.
  2. Within the search text-box, enter your previously existing application name and press the enter key.
  3. The list below should filter down to your application, click on the name of the application.
  4. On the page that opened, scroll down to the Authentication section and select the Edit button.
  5. Enter your assembled redirect URL and click Save.
Update Redirect URL in iManage Setup in Salesforce

You can find iManage Setup in the AppLauncher (waffle) at the top left of any Salesforce page.

  1. From the side menu, click on iManage Configuration.
  2. Select the Edit action button in the page header.
  3. Enter the assembled Redirect URL.
  4. Click Save.
