By default, all Matters are identified as open matters. The Matter Status Configuration allows your matters to be marked as closed based on chosen Stages or Status values or both Stage and Status combined.

Matter Status Configuration
Matters can be marked as "closed" based on specific criteria configured through this screen. This allows organizations to tailor the case closure process according to their unique workflows and requirements. Administrators can configure matters to be marked as closed based on:
- Stage: Define specific stages in which a matter is considered closed.
- Status: Set particular statuses that signify a matterās closure.
- Combination of Stage and Status: Utilize both fields to create more granular criteria, ensuring closure only when both conditions are met.
- Click [change] to go into edit mode.
- Select and move all applicable Stage options from the Available Options section to the Selected Options section.
- Select and move all applicable Status options from the Available Options section to the Selected Options section.
Upon saving the status configuration, AdvoLogix will run a one-time background job to find and mark all identified matters as closed.
