CalendarRules is a connected application that integrates court rule-based calendaring with CaseCloud. After configuring the connection, administrators can import court entities from their CalendarRules subscription and define default options for docket-generated activities.
Administrators can also verify connectivity, manage imported court entities, and configure activity comment settings.
Configure the CalendarRules Connection
- Open CaseCloud Setup.
- Under Connected Apps, select CalendarRules.
- Click Edit.
- Enter the API Login Token provided by CalendarRules.
- Select the appropriate Environment.
- Click Save.
- After the configuration is saved, open the CalendarRules setup page.
- Click Test Connection.
A successful test confirms that CaseCloud can communicate with the configured CalendarRules environment. The status beside CalendarRules in the navigation pane changes to Installed.
Import Court Entities
Use the Import Court Entities section to synchronize court data from a CalendarRules subscription. To Import Data:
- Navigate to CalendarRules.
- Click Import.
CaseCloud imports available court entities from the connected CalendarRules account. The page displays imported totals for:

The displayed counts update after a successful import.
Configure Docket Activity Options
The Docket Activity Options section defines how docket-generated events are created in CaseCloud.
Default New Activities As
Select the record type that should be created when a docket deadline is generated.
Default Event Duration
- Specify the default duration for newly created docket activities.
- This value is used when creating event-based docket activities.
Include Rule Text in Activity Comment
- Enable this option to include supporting court rule text within the activity comments.
- When enabled, CaseCloud adds the court rules associated with the calculated deadline to the activity's comments.
Include Date Rule in Activity Comment
- Enable this option to include the date calculation rule used to determine a deadline.
- When enabled, CaseCloud adds the date rule calculation details to the activity's comments.
