Older Releases

Version 1.20

Get Latest Update from Within the Application

AdvoLogix now provides a single-click update action built within the application. System administrators will have the ability to see the latest release and update the application within the iManage Setup tab.

Version 1.19

New Global Method to Support Salesforce Merge Operation

AdvoLogix has included a global Merge Workspaces method to support the merging of duplicate lead, contact, case, or account records in the database. Salesforce supports merging up to three records at a time (treated as the master record), and deletes the other records. With our Merge Workspaces method, your administrator can setup a background process to auto-link the iManage workspaces of those deleted records back to the master record. For more details on how to implement this functionality, see this article.

Version 1.18

Introducing Secured Logins Capability

Secured Logins capability within AdvoLogix provided components allows certain users of your organizations, with iManage access, to provide access as well as execute all available operations within the component using that user's access. Administrators can now enable users as secured logins which can power-up the lightning components authentication mechanism and allow higher level access to carry out certain tasks such as creation of workspaces or ability to access iManage content across your lightning community without requiring your portal users to explicitly login to iManage Work. For more details follow this article.

Added Support for Digital Experiences (Lightning Communities)

AdvoLogix has enabled all their lightning components for usage within Digital Experiences (or Lightning Communities). Administrators can now share content from iManage Work directly to the Salesforce community users, which works well with the newly launched secured logins capability that allows access to iManage content without requiring community users to exclusively login to iManage Work.

Version 1.17

Enhanced File Upload Capabilities

AdvoLogix has deployed and integrated its own Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform to provide higher file upload capabilities. Users can now upload files up to 1 GB from Salesforce to iManage Work when using custom navigation to browse workspaces and folders or when uploading Salesforce Files to iManage® Work via automation. For more details on how to enable this platform follow this article.

To enable the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform, provided by AdvoLogix, for your organization please contact your AdvoLogix account executive.

Lookup To Parent Fields From Base Object In Workspace Manager Configuration Formats

AdvoLogix has enhanced the merge field capabilities such that your administrator can reference related parent fields directly within workspace configuration formatter fields. You can now reference an account's fields without having the need to create custom formula on base object for referencing them in the configuration. For example, within a case object's workspace configuration the related account's account number can be referenced as {{Account.AccountNumber}} or a case's account's owner name can be referenced as {{Account.Owner.Name}}, where account is the relationship name of the account lookup field on Case.

Known Limitations

The iManage Integration for Salesforce Powered by AdvoLogix has identified certain limitations that  presently do not have a work-around from within the application components in Salesforce. Some of these limitations may have a pending resolution from the iManage API that we have consumed within our integration.  Some of these limitations are documented here:

  • The iManage Integration for Salesforce Powered by AdvoLogix cannot retrieve or lookup workspaces that have a comma (,) within a Workspace Name when the Workspace Manager Configuration is set to associated workspaces by Workspace Name. We advise customers to link the Workspaces using a custom profile in situations where it is known to users that workspaces may contain a comma in the name for certain objects. This issue has been identified and is being tracked under an internal iManage case (NT-112491).
  • The Featured Items lightning component within the connector may sometimes cause a bad request or an internal error when retrieving a list of documents or folders or when adding a document/folder to the featured items configuration. To workaround this error, users can edit the lightning component properties in the lightning app builder and provide a specific library name in the component property options.
There are multiple issues identified within the iManage API impacting the Featured Items component and are being tracked under the following internal iManage cases:
    • NT-124766 - REST - Get global documents not treating library parameter correctly and causing bad request error.
    • NT-126284 - REST API - Get global documents may fail with the message "No libraries specified".
    • NT-127235 - REST API - Get folders may fail with the message "Specified database is not accessible to user".
