Cost Centers help your organization categorize and allocate legal spend across Matters and Invoices. A Cost Center typically represents a department, business unit, office, or other organizational entity used for financial reporting.
Create Cost Centers once and reuse them across multiple Matters and Invoices. This centralized approach helps ensure consistent cost allocation and reporting throughout the Spend Management application.
Each Cost Center includes identifying information such as a name, department, description, and General Ledger (GL) code. You can also view the Matter and Invoice Cost Allocations associated with a Cost Center.
