Post Installation Requirements

After successfully installing the AdvoLogix package, the following modifications will need to be completed.

1. Assign Page Layouts

AdvoLogix ships with several customized page layouts for standard Salesforce.com objects. These layouts provide required customizations which produce a cohesive user experience for AdvoLogix users.  These layouts can be assigned to specific profiles within your organization. At minimum the page layouts should be assigned to all user profiles assigned to users of the AdvoLogix package.

1.1. Content Version Layout

  1. Go to Setup | Object Manager | Content Version | Page Layouts 
  2. Select the Page Layout Assignment button
  3. Select the Edit Assignment button
  4. Highlight each profile that will be using the AdvoLogix Content Layout
  5. Select AdvoLogix Content Layout from the Page Layout To Use drop-down menu
  6. Select Save

1.2. Account Layout

  1. Go to Setup | Object Manager | Account | Page Layouts
  2. Select the Page Layout Assignment button
  3. Select the Edit Assignment button
  4. Highlight each profile that will be using the AdvoLogix Account Layout
  5. Select AdvoLogix Account Layout from the Page Layout To Use drop-down menu
  6. Select Save

Repeat this process for Contacts, Events, and Tasks.

2. Install the AdvoLogix Lightning (ALEx) Supplemental Package

The AdvoLogix Lightning Supplemental package (ALEx) allows existing organizations to kick-start their AdvoLogix Lightning Experience.  Please follow the steps in this article to install ALEx.
