[1376] Component Needed for Community Portal External Users to Access for Collaboration (ND)

Summary

Question

A component is needed for the Salesforce community portal external users to access a collabspace for collaboration. These users will have an external account type under our NetDocument environment.

  1. Collabspace must be enabled in a cabinet.
  2. External users will have a NetDocument external type account registered by us (administrator) to access the shared collabspace.
  3. External users can only access the collabspace shared with them.
  4. External users will be added to a group in a specified cabinet with default permissions.
  5. A Salesforce NetDocument collabspace component for community portal site users.

Resolution

Here are the steps to add the component to the community:

  1. Assemble your new redirect URL for the community.
  2. Send your redirect URL to [email protected] to obtain approval.  For instructions to do this, follow this link.
  3. Add the component to your community and add the redirect URL in the builder properties for the component.
