Login Screen Still Showing After Logging in on Apple Mobile Devices (ND)

Updated on

Article #000001357

Summary

When on an Apple mobile device, the user sees the login screen even after logging in.

Question

Why do I see an additional login screen below my connector if I am already logged in?

Steps to Reproduce

Steps 1 - 4

Log into the Salesforce mobile app.

  1. Click on the Menu button.
  2. Select All Items.
  3. Search for the object you have the NetDocuments connector on.
  4. Search for a record of the object from #3.

Steps 5 - 7

5. On the record page, go to the tab the connector is on (this may not be how it is set up in your org).
6. Click on the Sign in to NetDocuments button.
7. Once you input your NetDocuments credentials, select the Allow button.

The last pane in the screenshot (above) shows two different areas.  The green area is what you are supposed to see.  The red area is what is not supposed to be there.

Resolution

NetDocuments Known Issue #316608

Per NetDocuments Support, they do not have an ETA for fixing this issue. From a priority perspective, it may not be addressed anytime soon.

Workaround

Everything appears to work properly if you log in to your NetDocuments Web using a browser first and then log in to Salesforce on your device. No login is needed on the device. If you don't log in to the browser first and are prompted to log in on the device, that doesn't work.
