User Profiles
Updated onArticleProfiles control access to what you can do. For example, a user’s profile will determine whether or not they can access all accounts and contacts, certain types of matters, even time entries or any other object/tab at all, and if so, what are their permissions to view or edit these records.
A profile contains the settings and permissions that control what users with that profile can do within AdvoLogix and the Client Portal.

AdvoLogix provides two types of releases, major releases and patch releases. Major releases are seasonal, occurring three times (approximately) per year and are generally accompanied by new functionality. Patch releases provide minor functional improvements and issue resolutions. It is important to note, patch releases are automatically installed for all customers on the current major release.

Task Assignment Notification
Updated onArticleAssignment Notification allows a user to receive an Email when someone else has scheduled a new Task on their behalf. One way in which AdvoLogix adopts task notification into our workflow is via Action Plans. Activities within an Action Plan optionally have the ability to send an assignment notification on a task by task basis.

Home Page Component Update
Updated onArticleThe Summer 2015 release of the Salesforce.com (Force.com) platform will have new requirements for home page components. The AdvoLogix Quick Timer, Matter Calendar and Portal Welcome components must be replaced with updated versions from the current release of AdvoLogix.
This update is not applicable to your organization if your organization does not use the aforementioned components on your Home Page Layouts. Otherwise, please read the following instructions for upgrading your organization. The update (for most) should be quick and simple. Either method described below can be completed by your organization's AdvoLogix Administrator.
