Using the Report Builder
Updated onArticleReport builder is a visual editor for reports. The report builder interface consists of three panes: Fields, Filters, and Preview. To optimize screen real estate, report builder uses a compressed page header. To view your application tabs, simply close the builder or click the Salesforce logo.
Fields Pane - The Fields pane lists all accessible fields in the selected report type, organized by the sections defined in the page layout.
- Find the fields you want using the Quick Find search box and field type filters, then drag them into the Preview pane to add them to the report.
- Create, view, edit, and delete your custom summary formulas in the Fields pane as well.
Filters Pane - Set the view, time frame, and custom filters to limit the data shown in the report.
Preview Pane - The dynamic preview makes it easy for you to customize your report. Add, reorder, and remove columns, summary fields, formulas, and groupings.
- Change the report format and display options, or add a chart.
- The preview shows only a limited number of records.
- Run the report to see all your results.

Create A Custom Report
Updated onArticleA report returns a set of records that meets certain criteria, and displays it in organized rows and columns. Report data can be filtered, grouped, and displayed graphically as a chart. Reports are stored in folders, which control who has access.
You must have Read permission on the records included in your reports; otherwise, when you run them, they may be missing data or appear blank.

AdvoLogix provides two types of releases, major releases, and patch releases. Major releases are seasonal, occurring three times (approximately) per year and are generally accompanied by new functionality. Patch releases provide minor functional improvements and issue resolutions. It is important to note, patch releases are automatically installed for all customers on the current major release.

Use the Timekeeper Checkbox on the User Page Layout
Updated onArticleThe Create Timekeeper checkbox is used to automatically create a Timekeeper record when a user is created or edited - where as upon save, that user has a Timekeeper created for them - to be utilized in the AdvoLogix Time entry functionality. There are two options for accessing this checkbox field.

At a Glance Dashboard
Updated onArticleAt a Glance is an optional Matter dashboard with up to four charts per record type. The dashboard can be added to any Matter page layout. Analytics are delivered in real-time or in optional snapshot mode. Charts in the dashboard are fully interactive with the ability to easily drill into the report data for further analysis or editing.

Create a Queue for Multiple Owners

- When you create a queue, Salesforce automatically creates a corresponding list view. Users can access the queue list view from the Cases, Leads, Service Contracts or custom object tabs. Only queue members and users above them in the role hierarchy have access to the queue list view, depending on your sharing settings.
- After you have defined a queue, you can set up lead or case assignment rules to automatically reassign ownership of leads and cases to the queue.
- After you have defined a queue for a custom object, you can set up a workflow rule that automatically reassigns ownership of custom object records to the queue via a field update on the record owner field.
