Intake Form File Size Limitation When on Sites Page (MM)

Summary

Presently the files uploaded using the intake form deployed as a Force.com Site have a limitation on maximum file size of 3MB.

Question

Why am I unable to load a file via the intake form?

Workaround

This is currently a platform limitation.
