Notes are a common method for quickly saving important information related to a specific record. Notes are most commonly used in AdvoLogix to memorialize information related to a specific Matter, Contact or Account.
1. Recording Notes
The most common way to record a note in AdvoLogix is in relationship to a specific record using the Notes related list. When recording a note, users have the opportunity to share the Note with other records or users within the organization.
2. Viewing Notes
Users' Notes can be viewed both globally, across the entire application or in-context with the record the Note has been associated (or shared) with.
- In the Classic user interface Notes can be viewed globally from the Files tab or for related notes from the Notes related list of the underlying record.
- In the Lightning Experience Notes can be viewed globally from the Notes application tab or for related notes from the Notes related list of the underlying record.
