STEP 5: Assign Page Layouts

AdvoLogix ships with several customized page layouts for standard objects. These layouts provide required customizations which produce a cohesive user experience for AdvoLogix users.

These layouts can be assigned to specific profiles within your organization. At minimum the page layouts should be assigned to all User Profiles assigned to users of the AdvoLogix package.

Page Layout Assignments

  1. From Setup click Customize | Accounts | Page Layouts.
  2. Select the Edit link next to the Advologix Account Layout. A list of User Prfiles will appear next.
  3. Click Edit Assignment.
  4. Select each profile that will be using the AdvoLogix Account Page Layout then save.
  5. Click Save.

Repeat this process for Contacts, Events, and Tasks. Please note Events and Tasks are found under Activities. There is also an AdvoLogix page layout for the User object that may optionally be used by the System Administrator Profile. This layout has a checkbox to automatically create a new TimeKeeper when a User is added.
