Introduction to Activity Plans
Activity Plans provide structure and automation to your organization's planning and scheduling process.
Prior to the AdvoLogix Spring 2018 release Activity Plans were referred to as Action Plans.

1. How do Activity Plans provide structure for scheduling?
Activity Plans represent a series of Activities grouped by virtue of a common time-line objective. This results in the ability to manage a group of interconnected Activities that move forward independently of (and/or in unison with) each other.
2. How do Activity Plans provide scheduling automation?
There are many productivity enhancements provided by Activity Plans. The single-most important being the ability to control multiple activities as a single entity. Activity Plans can be assigned to a Matter automatically, via the visual Process Builder or through other means such as a logic trigger. To this end, features such as Activity Plan Templates allow the reuse of previously created Activity Plans without the need to recreate the same process.
3. What is an Activity Plan Template?
Activity Plan Templates expedite the process of creating a new Activity Plan. The templates are pre-configured Activity Plans containing all the detail required to implement an Activity Plan. Simply apply a Template to a Matter and a new Activity Plan is deployed with everything scheduled and assigned as per the template. The Matter's new Activity Plan may be left as-is or edited to reflect a unique schedule for the given Activity Plan.
These Templates help provide a framework for implementing best practices and reusable standards within your organization.
