Advologix Setup Tab Overview (legacy)

The Advologix Setup tab allows you to access various setup areas for the Matter Management application.

This tab has been replaced by a new version as of March 2015. This article remains for legacy purposes only.

2. Portal Settings Tab

2.1. Customer Portal Welcome Message

The customer portal welcome message allows you to easily design an HTML message. This message will appear to all portal users when they log in, if you have deployed the Advologix Customer Portal Message Component to your portal home page.

  1. On the portal settings sub-tab, select Edit.
  2. Add the desired details via the HTML entry wizard.
  3. After saving, you will see the change on the portal settings tab landing page.

3. Timekeepers Tab

In order to record time in Advologix, each user or external resource (contact) must have a timekeeper record created for them.

  1. Access, create, delete, or edit the available List views for the timekeepers sub-tab.
  2. Add a new timekeeper.
  3. Change the owner of the timekeeper.
  4. Access, create, delete, or edit the available timekeepers.

4.1. Rate Groups

Rate Groups allow you to organize groups of rates for specific timekeepers for easy assignment of a group of rates for timekeepers to a matter.

  1. Access, create, delete, or edit the available list views for the rates sub-tab's rate groups tab.
  2. Add a new rate group.
  3. Change the owner of a rate group.
  4. Access, create, delete, or edit the available rate groups.

5.1. Action Plan Templates

Action Plan Templates allow you to create reusable 'Task Templates' which can later be applied on account, contact or matter.

  1. Access, create, delete, or edit the available List views for the action plan sub-tab's action plan template tab.
  2. Add a new action plan template.
  3. Change the owner of a action plan template.
  4. Access, create, delete, or edit the available action plan templates.

5.2. Action Plans

Action Plans are a set of multiple tasks created from an 'Action Plan Template' when an action plan template is applied on account, contact or matter.

  1. Access, create, delete, or edit the available List views for the action plan sub-tab's action plan tab.
  2. Add a new action plan.
  3. Change the owner of a action plan.
  4. Access, create, delete, or edit the available action plans.

6. Export Templates Tab

Create and manage Export Templates which can be used to retrieve customized data from time records for integration with external accounting and billing systems.

  1. Access, create, delete, or edit the available List views for the export template sub-tab.
  2. Add a new export template.
  3. Change the owner of a export template.
  4. Access, create, delete, or edit the available export templates.
